To assist the 11th grade students in preparing for their exams with ease and to clarify their study direction and goals, on December 17th, in the school auditorium, the Senior High School Department of our school held a grand mobilization conference for the academic proficiency examination of Grade 11. In attendance were Vice Principal Xiao Qingke, Assistant Principal Xu Zuitai, International Department Director Wang Yinzhai, Deputy Directors Jiang Shengyou, Zhu Yanyan in addition to all the teachers and students of the 11th grade. Through a heart-stirring event, they infused confidence and motivation into the upcoming senior year academic examination. This conference was chaired by Deputy Director Xu Haihong.
First and foremost, at the beginning of the conference, Director Jiang Shengyou broke down the exam tasks step by step in terms of the exam time nodes, the focus of each subject's preparation, and the precautions in the examination room. He transformed the seemingly complex academic examination tasks into a clear 'preparation checklist', enabling students to clearly understand 'what to be tested on and how to prepare', providing a 'reassuring pill' for efficient review, which allowed students to not only recognize the significance of the academic examination but also to let go of unnecessary pressure and face it with a light heart.
What's more, 'every bit of effort made at this moment is the confidence for the future.' The speech of Jin Ruiyan from Class 206 expressed the feelings of all the 11th grade students. Also, she shared her small tips for exam preparation- 'Review the basic framework of one subject before going to bed every day', calling on everyone to 'supervise each other and encourage each other', which would make the exam preparation journey have both 'the focus of going alone' and 'the warmth of going together'.
Furthermore, teacher representative Zha Xianqing delivered a keynote speech in which he not only conveyed the warm care of the teachers as a 'supporter' - 'On the road of exam preparation, we will be your strongest support', but also provided exam preparation suggestions as a 'guide': based on the foundation, identify and fill in the gaps, and adjust the mindset. Meanwhile, the sentence 'We are fighting side by side with you' made the students feel warm and confident.
Last but not the least, Assistant Principal Xu Zuitai delivered an impassioned motivational speech in which he urged the students, 'Treat the academic examination as a 'knowledge check-up'. Identifying and filling in the gaps is more important than the score. Additionally, not only will this exam test knowledge but also character. Thus, everyone must adjust their mindset and take the exam honestly.' More remarkably, Assistant Principal Xu Zuitai encouraged students, 'Treat the exam with a normal attitude, prepare with an enterprising spirit, and learn to turn pressure into motivation. Remember, youth is for striving. May all of you give your all and achieve your own victory!' Evidently, not only did these few words alleviate the anxiety of the exam preparation but also ignited the enthusiasm for the final push.
In a nutshell, not only did this mobilization meeting clarify the direction for the students but also instilled them with great confidence. More noticeably, it's believed that with the warm support of both teachers and students, students from Grade 11 will be able to calmly face the proficiency examination, turning their daily efforts into the confidence in their writings, and writing their own youthful answer sheets.
